Pool Doctor of the Palm Beaches recently did a pool renovation in North Palm Beach. It was a complete overhaul involving new tile, coping, pavers, and resurfacing.
Before the Renovation:
As you can see in the picture above, this pool was in serious need of help. It was an awkward shape, the deck around the pool was stained and fairly unusable. There was nothing appealing about this pool. It had obviously been neglected for some time, the water was disgusting. But, even without the neglect, it wasn’t a pretty pool, the concrete surrounding the odd shape offered no charm. This does not look like a pool anyone would want to take a swim in.
After the Renovation:
What a difference a little renovation can make! We elongated the pool and bumped out the side a bit, giving swimmers more room for laps or play. Before the renovation the pool’s awkward shape didn’t allow for full use of the pool. Now there is plenty of space for diverse pool activities.
As you can see in the after picture, not only did we change the shape of the pool, but we lightened up the interior by resurfacing it and added new tile. We highlighted the new shape with rounded coping, which is more family friendly than the straight-edged concrete they previously had. Then we put interest into the deck surrounding the pool with multicolored pavers. It almost looks like an old terra cotta courtyard, doesn’t it?
Now the family can make this space an inviting backyard oasis.
